Job Description

HOW THE WATCHSTANDER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Support operational procedure development, documentation, and integration; support with emergency response and operations;
  • Support operational tools, including use and testing of communication equipment, maintenance of databases, and data/information management and visualization;
  • Provide recommendations and inputs to support the development of application used for situational awareness and common operating picture.
  • The is a day shift position with occasional after hours support needed to support emergency activation and special events. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS            
  • Required Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficient with common operation tools such as WebEOC and mapping tools
  • Security Clearance Level:  Secret Eligible
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment; ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); customer service and problem-solving skill are essential
  • Location: On Customer Site, Washington, DC.  No remote work options
