Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety electrical, optical, and mechanical components. Main product produced are Submarine Imaging Systems and Periscopes for all classes of Submarines.
Primary work locations will be at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI. Domestic and International travel may be needed to support mission objectives.
Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides on-site support. Skills in electronics, optics, mechanical assembly or Radio Frequency equipment is desired.
Troubleshoots a wide variety of hardware and electronics as related to Submarine Imaging systems.
Works alongside customer and engineers to solve complex problems and develop solutions.
Provided training to other technicians / organizations for testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Submarine Imaging Systems
Must currently have or have ability to attain and hold a Secret Level Clearance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of related experience in optics or electronics, or Related experience with Submarine Imaging Systems
