At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Web Administrator, a typical day in this role will include:

  • Working with a team that consists of content managers and publishers
  • Editing HTML and creating thumbnails
  • Updating posted products as requested in a timely manner


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is desired but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience or appropriate combination of relevant experience and education
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  •  Attentive to detail, able to adapt to rapidly changing work environment and deadlines, and highly organized
  • Some holiday and weekend work may be required at times
  • Flexibility to adjust to possible changes in work schedule
  • Technical Skills:
    o HTML 5
    o Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite Design or Premium (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop)
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    o Previous Sponsor experience publishing and disseminating products is a plus

Designs and builds graphics, page layouts, and animation that suit web pages and enhance its layout to create visual appeal

Creates a detailed draft of the website, outlining the various web pages according to client specifications and needs.

Provides testing to ensure the website is user-friendly and interactive.

Provides review of the final webpage design for the next level production.

Collaborates with other web professionals on the implementation of the website.

Stays current with the latest design software so as to improve in knowledge and skills, and be able to create better design quality.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
