Possess excellent communication skills; to include proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Detailed understanding of Navy protocol and procedures as it relates to interacting with Senior Civilian or Naval Officers.
Experience in developing detailed briefings, strategy papers or articles related to maintenance or modernization of US Navy ships.
Understanding of Navy Correspondence Manual and other governing documents related to Navy Correspondence
Understanding of Navy terminology and maintenance fundamentals related to the husbanding of ships throughout a maintenance cycle.
Bachelor’s degree in a related professional field
Prior Commissioned Officer with experience serving on Surface Navy ships
Active Secret Security Clearance
Five (5) years of related professional experience in DoD/Navy acquisition process, in DoD/Navy Program management, industry or Government technical management, or industry or Government business management
Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Superb customer relations/interaction skills.
One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. A Security Clearance will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
