HOW AN ITSM SERVICE STRATEGY LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Performs strategic planning to design, develop, implement, and mature IT service management capabilities
Provides strategic guidance and recommendations for innovative solutions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Required Technical Skills:
ITIL Foundations v3 or ITIL 4 Foundations certification
10 years in ITSM Operations
Security Clearance Level:
Public Trust clearance (obtain & maintain)
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong demonstrated experience in the introduction of new changing services
Strong knowledge in application of ITIL service management processes
Ability to implement proactive, automated self-service capabilities; innovative managed services; and technologies that put customer needs and experience first, while reducing overall costs
Demonstrated experience supporting strategic planning and help customer transition to fully managed services
Ability to analyze the long-term value of the cost of IT infrastructure and align IT services with business objectives to develop forecasts for expected changes in service demand
Ability to assist in translating IT strategic goals, commitments and objectives into actionable plans, tasks, requirements, and solutions (technology and/or process)
Ability to identify possible alternatives, the estimated costs for the various options, and the potential advantages and risks associated with each alternative
Demonstrated experience in performing activity-based demand management and analysis of business activity and user profiles that generate demand, and develop forecasts for expected changes in service demand and future IT resource capacity and availability requirements
Ability to perform activity-based demand management and analysis of business activity and user profiles that generate demand, and develop forecasts for expected changes in service demand and future IT resource capacity and availability requirements
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IT Service Management Plans, practices, infrastructures, and systems utilizing industry best practices to optimize enterprise-wide IT service delivery and improve operational performance with minimal impact on customer business lines
