This individual will support the purchasing and account payables business processes as the functional SAP SME for FI. The individual will be responsible for defect resolution, end-user support, and system enhancements. This includes configuration, unit testing, integration testing, documentation, and communication with various user communities and the Tier 1 IFS Help Desk. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the IFS F110 disbursement and IPP interfaces.
Defect Resolution including documentation, configuration, and testing – 25%
End User Support – 20%
System Enhancements including documentation, configuration, and testing – 25%
Routine Maintenance of the IFS F110 Disbursement and IPP Interfaces 15%
Status Reporting on a weekly basis – 5%
Lead meetings to coordinate all of the above activities – 10%
Required skills/Level of Experience :
Demonstrated experience as SAP Finance SME (SAP FI, AP, AR, GL, SGL, Disbursements) – 7-10 years
Demonstrated experience in Federal Industry – 7-10 years
Active or ability to obtain IRS MBI/58C Tier 2RS
Nice to have skills:
IRS system and data knowledge experience SAP Funds Management Informatica and Control M scheduling concepts Ability to create technical documentation content and templates
Current Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation MBI/ 58C Tier 2RS clearance is required. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizenship required for MBI/ 58C Tier 2RS.
An IRS Medium Risk MBI/ 58C Tier 2RS clearance is required on Day 1 to start.
NOTE: This position is a combination remote/work at home and work at the IRS office. Depending on the needs of the business, the worker may need to work at the IRS building in New Carrollton, MD 50% of the time. This can vary from week to week.
