GDIT has a new and exciting opportunity available for a Logistic Analyst supporting our Regional Support Center Maintenance Facility at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Must have a current and active Secret clearance. This position is responsible for the overall supply chain management and requires an individual who is self-motivated, suitably experienced, qualified, and able to follow instructions clearly but also able to make command decisions on the spot to achieve the aims of the organization.
Essential Duties include your ability to:
Perform and manage all the functions associated with the GCSS-ARMY applications and at a minimum the GCSS-Army end user manual.
Open/close workorders in GCSS-Army and accurately capture man-hours and repair parts to consume Authorized Stockage Listing ASL.
Develop a winning situation for the company when working with vendors.
Select qualified vendors who are trustworthy to provide needs on time and in the correct place utilizing GDIT protocol.
Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred.
Provide material handling coordination support to include shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property.
Inspect inbound inventory for defects or notable damage and logs/reports issues.
Data entry, research and documentation of receiving issues.
Prepare inventory for shipping, loading of pallets, generating documentation, resolve inventory-tracking problems.
Interact with vendors to obtain information to reconcile inventory discrepancies and prepare RMAs.
Maintain positive control and account for the Authorized Stockage Listing (ASL), Government Furnished Equipment(GFE), and Theater Provided Equipment (TPE).
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, or containers according to predetermined sequence.
Ship equipment/supplies between Regional Support Centers(RSC) and supporting agencies.
Conduct product pricing and quality vendors to outsource research.
High level of experience operating within the GCSS-ARMY environment
Must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports needed for all required operations.
Must have a thorough knowledge of read/write capability through the GCSS-ARMY
Must demonstrate a high level of customer service skill and be able to present a positive approach with customers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preform other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary. (Duties listed above not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded.)
The Ideal Candidate will Have:
BS or equivalent + 4 yrs related experience, or MS + 2 yrs experience
Must have a current and active Secret clearance.
US passport must not expire for at least 2 more years and must have at least 6 blank pages.
Working knowledge of Electronic Counter Measures programs and Electronic Warfare systems.
Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
