Network Technician Senior/Mid - Provides senior level support for telecommunications systems including maintaining networking equipment; oversee installation of systems including equipment and cabling, and maintaining remote linkages. Instruct users in equipment, application and operating system functions such as DOS, spreadsheets, word processing programs, data bases, and accessing shared devices and answer technical questions. Research the options available to meet telecom needs. Maintain modems for remotes and wide area linkages. Detailed knowledge of the technical and operational capabilities and implementation procedures. An understanding of call center management principles is necessary in order to develop appropriate application systems. Must possess an understanding of PC communications and configuration of network cards; as well as an understanding of data entry principles. Able to understand network cabling practices and procedures.

Technical training in computer science or similar related field AND three (3) to four (4) years of related technical experience.
