As a Business Analyst/ IT Governance supporting General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will be trusted to work with an IT consulting firm to implement industry best practices IT governance processes and framework to improve the efficiency and quality of IT services delivery.

In this role, a typical day will include the responsibilities below: 

  • Capture desired business outcomes, demands, actions, and plans  
  • Learn organizations, information, systems, policies, processes, metrics, opportunities, challenges, risks, and constraints  
  • Investigates, identifies, analyzes, and captures business systems, process, information, and other forms of detailed specifications & requirements  
  • Supports the development and delivery of solutions  
  • Translate business requirements to technical specifications and interface with other technical staff to design, develop, and maintain solution  
  • Supports unit, integration, and acceptance testing  
  • Performs other duties as directed  

Required Qualifications

  • Education and/or relevant experience –Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst

Required Skills

  • Evidence of ability to follow detailed task direction and instructions on tasks of limited scope having a good understanding of the Business Systems Analysis discipline  
  • Demonstrate personally accountable behavior and shows initiative and enthusiasm on assignments  
  • Good oral & written communication skills  
  • Lean-Agile mindset good ability to understand and become familiar with the Lean-Agile mindset 
  • Lean-Agile principles and practices (includes DevSecOps, Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban) ability to become familiar with the Lean-Agile principles and practices (includes DevSecOps)
  • Enterprise Architecture or GRC Experience Desired 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualification

  • CSM certification

The likely salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
