The Military Operations Analyst compiles information to help make decisions regarding military strategy. Analysts may work in the field interpreting data about enemy operations, or they may evaluate broader military processes in consulting positions. Responsibilities will include researching and modeling military systems performance and operations; developing analytical methods and tools to facilitate analyses; executing trade studies; performing data analytics & statistical analysis; and developing effective presentations that succinctly communicate results and findings

This role is supporting the Mission Command Exercise Division at the Special Operations Mission Training Center.

Provides advanced analytical and support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise.

Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.


Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data.

Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.

Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.

May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
