At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant IV a typical day will include:
Interacting with the all levels of leadership in the Department in conjunction with the Chief and Deputy's direction. Additionally the AA IV will routinely work with a diverse cadre of AA's, Si's, and SETA's to ensure communication across all components, solve problems as a team, and coordinate across the Department on administrative, procedural, and organizational matters.
Coordinating and supporting the Chief of Staff and Front Office Staff as required
Ensuring that the office functions effectively to include office equipment servicing, office supplies, travel planning, official event planning, vault security management, etc
The AA primary duty location will be Headquarters, but may have to travel on occasion to other Department locations across the WMA.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Available to work during core hours Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Proficient in both verbal and written skills using common Office applications in order to both convey and answer requests and actions. The AA will often be communicating on behalf of the leadership team and therefore, requires a strong degree of professionalism, decorum, and positivity.
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
Excellent verbal and written communications skills Exude professional decorum in all aspects of the job to include physical appearance/dress, personal interactions and phone etiquette, desk cleanliness, FO cleanliness, etc.;
