Job Description

Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Subcontracts Administrator Associate at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Subcontracts Administrator Associate you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Subcontracts Administrator Associate joining our team to provide support with related work to the subcontract life cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout.

HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Assists in the negotiation and administration of assigned NDAs, TA,s subcontracts, purchase orders, and other related agreements
  • Assists in preparation of subcontract solicitations
  • Participates in the evaluation of subcontractor proposals for adherence to company and client requirements
  • Participates in the review and coordination of approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of all subcontract documents
  • Participates in negotiating and drafting subcontract modifications
  • Prepares status reports and briefs management on issues or problems
  • Assists management and subcontract personnel in preparing procedural changes
  • Assists management and subcontract personnel in the resolution of subcontract-related problems
  • Develops current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices
  • Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Experience: 0-2 years of related experience in contracts administration or corporate environment
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to operate and negotiate independently. Problem solving skills.
  • Location: Hybrid work location between the GDIT facility in either Falls Church, VA or Herndon, VA, and home office
  • Clearance: None required
  • Due to the nature of the work performed and access to restricted data, U.S. Citizenship is required.
