At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cloud Python Developer supporting ETM, you will be trusted to review and evaluates information technology (IT) infrastructure and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Basic network capabilities (DHCP, ARP, DNS, VLANs etc.)

  • Deployment and troubleshooting of large networks

  • Python programming and configuration scripts

  • Creating Ansible scripts and playbooks

  • Managing projects in GitLab

  • OSPF routing in large networks

  • MPLS deployment and troubleshooting

  • IP-VPN deployment and troubleshooting in MPLS environments

  • BGP Peering with other networks

  • Working with IP Addressing architectures in large networks

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret security clearance

  •  DoD 8570 IAT II Certification

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience

  • Strong experience with Arista, Juniper or Cisco switches and routers

  • Basic Linux skills (CentOS/RedHat or Ubuntu/Debian)

  • Basic Linux scripting

  • Configuring systems to meet STIG Compliance requirements (other security profiles is acceptable)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Aruba Switches (3810M or similar), desired but not required

  • EVPN experience is highly desired, but not required

  • VxLAN experience is highly desired, but not required

  • 802.1x deployment is desired, but not required
