We have an opportunity for Software Developer(s) to work on a team modernizing a suite of web applications and information systems supporting the weapons laboratories at the Navy's Center of Excellence at the Naval Air Warfare Center in China Lake, CA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities
May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements
May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
Must be able to obtain a Secret DoD security
3+ years of related software development experience

The likely salary range for this position is $67,683 - $113,048, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
