• As a lead developer of Big Data drive the hands-on development of the solution  in an Agile/Scrum based delivery environment

• Collaboratively work with Solution Architects and deliver solution in alignment with the strategic vision

• Be responsible for analyzing the requirements and taking it all the way from conceptual phase to implementation phase.

• Experience designing and building data ingestion pipelines using Kafka, Glue ETL, Lambda, NIFI frameworks

• Ability to develop and guide developers to code using Spark framework in Scala, Java or Python

• Hands-on experience designing/developing solutions in Cloud (AWS) such as AWS MSK, AWS Elastic, AWS EMR, AWS Sagemaker, S3 Archival, AWS Kinesis

Thorough understanding of the container based application architectures including ECS,EKS on AWS

• Knowledge of cyber security - HP Fortify, Sonarqube and additional methods for securing code

• Requires thorough understanding of the AWS security best practices and has hands-on experience implementing SAML, Kerberos authentication, RBAC, TLS and data encryption controls.

• Other Requirements:

• Develop Code /Review Code &  design documentation for all components of the Hadoop stack

• Must be familiar with DevOps, CI/CD and delivery process automation tools such as Ansible/Terraform.

• Work with test/QA team to build automated test scripts

• Shares  own expertise with others; may co-ordinate activities of others/the team

• Drives high degree of innovation with development team

• Promotes teamwork and works with other cross-functional teams

• Demonstrates creativity the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent

• Must possess strong server side knowledge in back-end programming

• Proficient in creating Rest API Micro-services using ReactJS or AngularJs

• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles

• Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.

• AWS Certification Preferred - Solutions Architect & Data Analytics
