Our GDIT Federal Financial Agencies team has an exciting new opportunity available for a Program Manager who will be responsible for the on-sight oversight for all technical and operational functions, planning, organization, and control of resources to complete all deliverables and services. The candidate for this position:

  • Implements the proposed Program Management Plan; ensures compliance
  • Ensures all security requirements and governance guidelines are met in accordance with PWS
  • Manages and monitors project cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, materials, security, deliverables, quality, and metric objectives and milestones of the contract
  • Participates in monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs); provides the Government with monthly Contract Status Reports
  • Coordinates, collaborates, and communicates with the Contracting Officer to address potential problems, issues, and/or risks that may impact the mission and/or contract deliverables
  • Recruits and retains the required mix of personnel with the expertise, experience, and appropriate qualifications to perform duties and responsibilities

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management of large-scale programs from Federal, State, or the Private Sector, that includes the management of multiple contract types
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills

Required Skills:

  • Oversee program and performance management offices on behalf of agency personnel
  • Oversee personnel and maintain cost, schedule and performance data
  • Meet regularly with government managers and advise them on deliverables and issues on a variety of projects.
  • Regularly consults with and advises senior government managers, and serves as trusted advisor to provide analytical guidance required for completion of government programs and initiatives
  • Facilitate overall strategy development at the agency level

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college

Certification Requirements:

  • Possesses a Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
