GDIT’s Military Health IT Team is HIRING a Project Manager (PM) to lead GDIT’s project team for the PEO-EIS Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) project in Fort Detrick, MD.
The target start timeframe for this position is this December 2020.
MC4 is a formally chartered acquisition program with specific cost, schedule, and technical objectives. Contractor services are required to perform selected aspects of the MC4 mission. These services include: development of enabling software and technologies; test and evaluation; production engineering; equipment fielding and training; help desk and post deployment system (PDS) support; and on-site FSR support.
Serve as the Government’s single program focal point with responsibility and authority for directing and managing contractor performance in the areas of IT production engineering, IT/IA regulatory compliance, and fielding and training of systems to Army units
Manage multidisciplinary teams performing inter-related activities and responsible for the successful completion of all tasks across the geographically disbursed MC4 program area to include CONUS and OCONUS locations
Ensure compliance with relevant government policies and standards with special emphasis on Cyber Security and Configuration Management requirements
Support rapid development and integration of software solutions to satisfy the Army’s 10 Medical Functions in cooperation with other agencies
Deploy cost and schedule management strategies
Assure quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits and site visits to include CONUS and OCONUS locations
Develop, review, and approve plans, schedules and other program documents
Prepare and provide various reports, technical reviews and briefings for senior government officials from MC4, PEI EIS, DHMSM, JOMIS PMO, and numerous Army medical Command and Units
Establish and manage processes to protect sensitive personal and health care information to include transmission and storage on platforms
BA/BS or a related technical discipline
10+ years of directly related managerial experience supporting systems and information technology efforts in Government environment
Expert knowledge of cyber security compliance process, Army’s 10 Medical Functions, and DoD/Army testing requirements for COTS/GOTS hardware and software products for operational medicine
Hands on experience working with DoD medical systems (MHS GENESIS, AHLTA-T, TMIP-J, HALO, etc.)
