This position requires a strong level of autonomy, proactiveness, and the ability to use sound judgement to make independent decisions following broad or detailed guidance and direction. A majority of the work performed is transactional in nature, in a dynamic work environment. This position is customer-facing where routine interaction with line officers, supervisors and managers within and beyond the programs, to include the front office level is expected. This position is part of one or more mission support administrative teams, working with one or more executive officers and will back-up leadership on budget, facilities, IT, space, and task management duties. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey administrative and mission related information. Core hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM M-F but the actual duty day is flexible and will be adjusted as mission requires. The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds of material and moving collapsible partitions between conference rooms. Travel to other government buildings with 25 miles using candidates personally owned vehicle is occasionally required and will be reimbursed.
