Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Pensacola, FL, has an immediate opening for a Host-Based Security System (HBSS) Analyst to assist with all HBSS-related system administration and support requirements for the MSC fleet. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and maintain systems in accordance with DoD mandated policies; investigate potential security breaches and report as necessary
  • Audit computer systems to ensure compliance with mandated policies and review logfiles
  • Support HBSS deployment to the MSC enterprise network environment, ensuring configurations follow DoD and MSC requirements
  • Assist with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) remediation on HBSS servers/applications
  • Assist as needed with network accreditation efforts by providing documentation for HBSS systems upon request

Job Requirements:

  • Interim SECRET clearance
  • Most possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
  • Must have completed DoD HBSS training or be able to complete the training immediately after hire
  • Must have 5 years or more experience supporting HBSS in an enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting a high-latency, low-bandwidth enterprise environment is a plus
