US Army Europe is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support existing mission requirements and exciting new deployments and projects in Wiesbaden, Germany. The ideal candidate has experience:

  • Managing the entire life cycle of IT projects.
  • Architecting and deploying virtualization platforms, including those based on Xen, Hyper-V, and VMware technology.
  • Architecting and deploying SecureView or a similar multi-tenant computing platform.
  • Configuring and supporting Windows and Linux operating systems at an expert level.
  • Deploying Layer 2 and 3 networks, including supporting VPN technologies.
  • Delivering solutions based on NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified Capability Packages.
  • Installing, configuring, and deploying Army mission systems.
  • Installing and configuring enterprise storage platforms.
  • Troubleshooting and rapidly resolving problems with little to no oversight.
  • Creating exceptional technical documentation and drawings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a valid DoD 8570.2 IAT II certification. Computing Environment certification or any Microsoft certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: PMP

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
