**During COVID restrictions, candidate will be required to be on site for 1-2 days a week, once restrictions are lifted, there will be flexibility but typically more on-site work required.**
A typical day in the life of a GDIT Systems Technician:
Be an Information Technology liaison between Enterprise Technology Services and Solutions (ETSS) leadership and program/project managers in need of hardware and software support
Provide technical support for publication development solutions and interface with Department of Defense (DoD) customers in support of hardware and software conflicts
Manage, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure issues with other Enterprise Information Technology Solutions teams and provide cognitive reporting to these teams
Provide concise documentation for all incident responses and maintain all tickets within service level objective standards
Develop and maintain dashboards of vulnerability scanning protocols to keep workstations and servers at or above policy standards
Understand and follow policy and work instructions related to information assurance and cyber security standards related to computer systems and operations
In order to be considered for this role, you must have:
Fiive 5+ years of related IT experience OR seven (7) years related IT experience in lieu of the Associates;
Basic IT knowledge to fulfill the responsibilities listed above;
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
