IT Business Analyst

Looking for an energetic IT Business Analyst who will be working with a select group of engineers building communication systems involving software defined radios, custom waveforms, and control software for radios and control surfaces (GUI). You will be team member to help build innovative hardware and software systems. Job duties include evaluating and improving business processes, orchestrating project schedules, assisting with proposals and white papers and documenting hardware/software systems.

Required and Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Required

• Coordinate and conduct customer work sessions to gather and document requirements.
• Functionally design changes to custom reports, interfaces, or extensions to support upgraded software and new business processes.
• Perform data analysis, as needed, in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Coordinate team members travel request with multiple customers to provide the most efficient use of time.
• Maintain corporate and/or customer inventory
• Ability to Order/Receive IT equipment and maintain the inventory reports
• Ability to learn at a fast pace and be able to communicate effectively both written and orally
• Strong customer service skills and customer relationship management experience
• Excellent organization, communication and writing skills
• Work independently with minimal guidance from more senior subject matter experts.
• Develop subject matter expertise for assigned components.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.
• Able to quickly shift gears between audiences, from business users to highly technical resources
• DoD Secret clearance or higher

Desired

• Experience with IT systems functional analysis, requirements design, test development, and test execution
• Translate business requirements into test scripts; execute tests against developed systems, and document results
• Experience creating standard operating procedures (SOP) as well as to create technical documentation inclusive of flow charts and architectural schematics
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Window environments
• Active TS+ clearance
