GDIT is seeking Help Desk Technicians at all levels to provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software, in support of the USSOUTHCOM-SCITES Program.
Monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.
Monitor and respond to operating and error messages.
May enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices.
Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
Plan and lead major technology assignments.
Evaluate performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
May supervise others.
1+ years hands-on experience in an Information Technology environment.
DoD 8570.01 IAT-II certification (e.g., Security + CE or equivalent),
Customer Support and ServiceNow experience a plus.
High School degree or GED equivalent
