Task Order Project Manager - Columbus, OH

GDIT is seeking a Task Order Project Manager to help support our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Service Desk program.  The candidate must work in Columbus, OH.

As a Task Order Project Manager for our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) in Columbus, Ohio, you will be responsible for enterprise-wide oversight and coordination of endpoint security. You will provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership for the project.  This position will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.  The role will also be responsible for scope, cost, schedule, and performance of the project.

The right candidate may be eligible for a sign on bonus, however no relocation assistance can be provided.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Primary point of contact and point of escalation for assigned project.
• Requires ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure status, risks, and issues are kept up to date for project while proactively keeping assigned government lead informed.
• Oversees all work and takes corrective action as necessary to ensure success of assigned tasks.
• Supervises assigned project staff.
• Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
• Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.
• Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
• Responsible for providing support to the customer for issues relating to the McAfee Endpoint Security System (ESS) suite of products including Endpoint Security (ENS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Policy Auditor (PA), Rogue System Detection (RSD), and others.
• Responsible for performing security and risk assessments of new technologies, objectively providing guidance and recommendations from an Information Security best practice/regulatory standpoint.
• Responsible for implementing DoD regulations including TASKORDs, STIGs, etc.
• Perform audit reviews of guidelines mandated from DISA and USCYBERCOM.
   

Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and be eligible for IT-1 upon assignment

• Upon start of employment on contract, must meet the following DOD 8570 Baseline requirements
  • IAT Level III (one of the following)
    • CASP
    • CCNP Security
    • CISA
    • CISSP
    • GCED
    • GCIH
  • CSSP Infrastructure Support (AND one of the following)
    • CEH
    • CySA+
    • GISCP
    • SSCP
    • CHFI
    • CFR
    • CND
    • Cloud+
    • Risk Management Professional credential
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
• BS (or equivalent experience), 7+ years of experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience in projects of similar size and complexity
• Provide strong written and verbal communication, solid presentation skills and technical writing skills are a must.
• Demonstrate knowledge of security & risk frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with implementation of security technologies and architecture, including network security, firewall configuration, intrusion detection, data loss prevention and application security.
• Utilize experience conducting and mitigating security/risk assessments.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Use excellent time management skills and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Show an ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines).
