At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an IT PM/Scrum Master supporting the customer, you will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service. GDIT is seeking highly cleared candidates with active TS SCI w/Poly to provide scrum master, road mapping, and customer engagement in support of enterprise –wide systems and products.
In this role, typical duties will include:
Understanding and facilitating Scrum ceremonies
Drives the Scrum team to find efficiencies and to constantly improve themselves
Mentors the Scrum team to be self-organization
Leads the team to making their own conclusions and decisions
Does not make decisions on behalf of the team
Shields the team from outside interference
Coaches the Product Owner, Scrum team, Stakeholders, and the greater organization on Agile ideology and Scrum best practices
Helps all parties understand their role in Scrum and how to work together effectively
What makes a good story so the team can work on it
Can help guide Product Owner on vision for what they want to accomplish
Removes impediments for the Scrum team or escalates them to someone that can
Assist team in unit testing.
Assist team in resolving customer issues.
Work directly with downstream customers to resolve application issues.
