As an Administrative Assistant III, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
As a member of the department front office, interactions will include the Department Chief, Deputy Chief, and C/Staff, EXO. C/T3, branch chiefs, department staff, Mission Center front office members, Security, Facilities, and Logistics officers, and other senior officers in other Centers and Directorates
The AA shall work with a high level of discretion due to the nature of the Mission Center's work. AA will be expected to act with a wide breadth of autonomy and be able to interact and work effectively with all levels including GS-15 and SIS officers
Courtesy, professionalism, and discretion are critical components required of the AA
The AA must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. AA will provide support to both the front office staff and office as a whole
The AA should be proactive in assessing and identifying process improvement initiatives and serving as a problem solver to assist in advancing the efficiency of the office
Travel to McLean may occasionally be required via the shuttle for interaction with the Mission Center Front Office.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Office hours are flexible and no additional hours beyond 1,860 annually are anticipated
Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own
This position is on customer site
