General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a TACP ASOC Subject Matter Expert to work as a Product Owner in support development and testing of an Air Support Operations Center (ASOC)/Tactical Operations Center (TOC) Command and Control (C2) application.
The software solution provides capabilities for data communications, targeting, and battlespace awareness supporting Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), TOC, and ASOC digitally aided C2 and Close Air Support (CAS) operations. The tailored Agile DevSecOps software development process uses two week sprints, includes features of Scrum and Kanban, and leverages a CI pipeline. Candidates are expected to collaborate with development teams and government stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria and ensure those requirements and acceptance criteria are met as a part of our definition of done. The candidate will largely be the voice of the users for the development team.
TACP experience working within the ASOC
BA/BS, (or equivalent) and 10+ years experience
Experience with agile development, in particular as a Product Owner, would be a tremendous benefit, though is not required.
This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or the start date, if after December 8.
The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
