GDIT is seeking a Director, USSOCOM Business Development located in the Tampa area. You will lead business development efforts within SOCOM, supporting efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business within GDIT's ARMA Global Business Unit. You will support the team to develop capture strategies including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identification of potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win, and participate in bid and proposal activities.
You will be responsible for leading business development efforts for SOCOM and will manage all aspects of account growth and strategy development, new business development, and customer relationship management across all levels within assigned accounts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, or related discipline, PLUS 10+ yrs of business development or other relevant experience within the DoD and/or SOCOM
· In lieu of Bachelor's degree, combination of work experience, education, or training is required
· Able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
· Must be able to travel up to 20%-25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
· Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred
· Master's degree preferred
