GDIT is seeking a SharePoint Online Trainer to help an exciting new contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS). NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract funding.

The SharePoint Online Trainer will provide O365 SharePoint Online support for the DEOS Cloud Service Offering contract. The SPO Trainer will provide applied subject matter expertise to supporting the customer and team in developing and delivering general and targeted SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and other related training via in-person, virtual, and/or computer-based.      

Responsibilities include the following: 

  • Develops the training curriculum for SharePoint Online and the materials to support the curriculum 

  • Leads/instructs/trains SharePoint Online/Teams/OneDrive classes either in-person, virtual, or computer-based 

  • Develops training programs using proven adult learning methodologies and techniques to design and develop engaging learning activities and compelling course content. 

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts within your team to identify audience’s training needs. 

  • Creates visual aids (audio, video, simulations, e-learning modules, role plays, games, tests, etc). 

  • Facilitates and/or present training classes and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. 

  • Participates in team and customer interactions to analyze, design, and document SharePoint solutions and architecture suited to specific business needs and processes 

  • Provides input into SharePoint best practice guidance documentation as needed 

  • Provides responses for other team members in support of end user support requests as needed  

  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Active DoD Secret clearance 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education) 

  • Minimum 6 years of experience

  • Level II 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) 

  • Recent technical training related experience in some or all SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform 

  • Experience with adult learning techniques and creating lesson plans/curriculums 

  • Ability to explain technical procedures in business terms so that customers understand. 

  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment 

  • Solid work ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environment independently and as part of a team 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Highly organized 

The likely salary range for this position is $57,069 - $95,305, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
