Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and orchestrate all engineering and technical resources to deliver the enhancements approved for a given production system.
  • Build and maintain the cross-functional teams required to develop and deliver approved enhancements to a production system.
  • Oversee resolution of resource conflicts and facilitate the prioritization of resources within and between sprints.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to advance professional development of individual practitioners.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Engineer, Enterprise Architect, MARS Lead, and other leaders to assess the integration of a production system’s data and functional code into the MARS baseline as approved in the enterprise architect governance process.
  • Identify and implementing products and techniques to automate the capability delivery process to operations, as well as automating the feedback loops from mission operations and obtaining timely feedback from mission operations during the development process.
  • Develop a stage environment as well as an explicit connection to the operational environment(s).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage technical staff and technical resources to priority needs.
  • Lead professional development and work culture for high performing teams.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Skill / Certification:

  • Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps methods in support of continuous development, continuous integration environments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL Service Design process and procedures.
  • Experience working in the Agile Software Development and Testing framework.
  • Experience in AWS, Azure or other Cloud Service provider

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI required
  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph
