Job Description
General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is currently seeking candidates for the Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate’s Secure Unclassified Network (SUNet). SUNet allows the DoD, the interagency community, and international partners to jointly support common operational missions and information sharing among mission partners. This program provides enterprise-level IT support, include on-premise and cloud environments. GDIT has strong experience supporting this type of work and we are looking to add to our team to deliver mission-critical, time-sensitive capabilities to our customer.

It is required that the Chief Engineer has the following qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of five years of experience in system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques (e.g. STIGs).
- Possess minimum five years of experience leading Software/System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for on-premise and or cloud-hosted path to production, including design, development, testing, installation support and maintenance.
- System Engineering or Enterprise Architecture Certification (e.g. CSEP, CEA)
It is desired that the Chief Engineer has the following qualifications:
- MS in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
- Possess 15 years of experience engineering and architecting DoD networks/systems (on- prem and cloud).
Active TS Security & SCI eligible is required.
