BMD Training Specialist Aegis Fire Control System (FCS) SME
Knowledge/Experience Description:
Must have 2 years surface navy experience as a Qualified as a Missile Systems Supervisor (MSS) on an Aegis BMD or equivalent platform.
Experience in the following:
Recent instructor/trainer or operational experience on a BMD configured Aegis ship or BMD command/agency.
Completed BMD deployment certification or similar training.
Ballistic missile threats (North Korea, Iran, Syria, China, Russia and India) and developing missiles order of battle for countries of
interest Experience with Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) concepts and development of comprehensive intelligence scenario
products for BMD training.
Knowledge of: BMD Tactics, Technical Systems, and Instructions, including COMNAVSURFORINST 8820.2 series requirements and Tactical
memorandums.
