Job Description

GDIT MAINES contract has a requirement for an experienced software developer to join our ITS-EPA IV Managed Application, Infrastructure, Networking, Enterprise, and Security Services (MAINES) Contract in support of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

At GDIT, our employees are resourceful and proactive. As a Software Developer supporting our clients, you will be trusted to work both independently and with other team members on multiple projects.  In this role, your skills should include:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle ApEx 18.1 or newer 
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL stored procedures and triggers 
  • Experience in JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to perform all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
  • Creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
  • Performing software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
  • Providing analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
  • Thoroughly documenting the software or system for future maintenance and updates
  • Potentially coaching and providing guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • Possibly serving as a team or task lead

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
