General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Data Architect for the DEE Solutions Management Team who preferably holds Secret clearance. Site location: remote.

The position will support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Deterrent Force. GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution, which enables and integrates the program’s complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program’s lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable environment delivered to the Government, to be instantiated “virtually” on the Government’s network infrastructure, and updated during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system development.

Within the DEE team, the GDIT Solution Management team is responsible for maintaining an effective baseline for the development and integration of capabilities for GBDS and will conducts, supports, and participates in Technical Interface Meetings (TIM), Design Reviews, Technical Reviews, and Joint Government-contractor Working Groups, and shall provide the following deliverables:

Conference Agenda

  • Briefing Materials
  • Report, Record of Meeting Minutes
  • Design Review Plan
  • Design Review Information Package (DRIP)

The Data Architect duties will include:

  • Serving as a Data Science/Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) practice leader with expertise in Cyber Analytics and experiences architecting, developing and implementing enterprise applications using Scaled Agile and SecDevOps
  • The Data Architect will define the reference architecture, perform cloud engineering and development, resource management, and provide implementation support to the team
  • The Data Architect also will be responsible for conducting system performance evaluations, and identifying and making recommendations of technologies being considered for system improvements

Required Skills:

  • Expert level knowledge of AI and ML Theory and Practice
  • SAFe certification
  • INCOSE CSEP Certification
  • Current Secret clearance
