GDIT is seeking a Software Developer to help support the Navy’s Next-generation Open Mission Systems (NOMS) for Mission Planning through the Airborne Electronic Attack Unique Planning Component (AEA UPC).
As a Software Developer, for the NOMS/AEA UPC program in Point Mugu, California you will be responsible for developing a codebase leveraging Microservices to modernize and optimize program requirements for Mission Planning for NOMS/AEA UPC.

In this role, a typical day will include:
Developing microservices and containers to satisy strict requirements for the Next Generation Open Mission Systems
Creating Use Cases and Unit Tests to facilitate the design of software systems to be integrated into the overall Mission Planning solution
Collaborating with others in an Agile/Scrum environment to maximize innovation and productivity
Preparing demonstrations of newly implemented features and technology
Peer reviewing codebase updates and improvements to ensure quality and reliability
Collaborating with test and documentation to create an end to end solution
Qualifications:
Eligible to attain a Secret clearance
BS degree
3+ years experience
Experience with Java, Java Script, Microservices, React, HTML, CSS, C#
Desired Qualifications:
Eligible to attain a Top Secret clearance
Experience with Git, Unix, DevSecOps, Agile, Scrum

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
