Job Description Summary:

GDIT has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Administrator supporting the NAVAIR Foreign Military Sales programs in California, Maryland.

Must have experience with:

  • Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Cisco VPN.
  • Network administration and its analysis.
  • Maintaining the integrity and security of networks and connected systems.
  • Developing and implementing testing strategies and document results.
  • Evaluating vendor products and making recommendations to purchase hardware, software, and coordinating installation.
  • Enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
  • Working with complex system implementations and organizational processes to include maintaining network system documentation.
  • Projects related to network installations and upgrades.
  • Managing/tracking departmental hardware and software.

Additional-Preferred skills (A plus to have)

  • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and DISA STIG compliance requirements.
  • Experience with managing Windows Server 2012-2019 platforms.

Must have a Secret clearance.

BS/BA from an accredited college or university and a minimum of (5) years of experience in Network Administration is required.

When a Bachelors degree is not present, two (2) years of experience in field related areas may be substituted for one (1) year of college. Eight (8) years of field related experience will be considered equivalent to a Bachelors degree.

COVID 19 related information: This position is not a Telework position. Although, due to the pandemic, the entire team is currently teleworking. Maximum telework will be exercised at all times but due to the nature of this position, when needed, the individual will have go into the GDIT facility in California, Maryland to perform job related functions.
