Our work depends on a Senior Software Developer-MS .Net Stack joining our team to support our work for Indian Health Services (IHS)
This is remote based role. Candidates must reside in the US
In this role, a typical day will include
Research; designs; develops and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
Designs; develops; codes; tests; and debugs complex new software products; or makes significant enhancements to existing software.
Researches and integrates design strategies; product specifications; development schedules; and user expectations into product capabilities.
Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
Supports application user interface accessibility requirements by understanding and applying best-practice and industry standard approached for meeting Section 508 and WCAG accessibility guidelines to application designs and development.
Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals; system documentation; and training materials.
Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software operating systems and application issues.
Advises hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems, such as storage capacity; processing speed; and input/output requirements.
Prepares reports on analyses; findings; and project progress.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Engineering or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical training; or work/military experience.
8+ years of related software development experience with front end development using Asp.Net core
5 years working knowledge and experience with Agile development processes.
5 years of experience working with SOA/web service architectures.
5 Years UI/UX Development or Design Experience
Strengths in accessibility-centered design and/or user-centered design
Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code
Must be able to obtain Position of Public Level 5 Clearance.
