Our work depends on a Red Blue Team Lead joining our team to support the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration.
The National Nuclear Security Administration IT Managed Services (NIMS) is an exciting program performing IT support for the Department of Energy's organization responsible for enhancing national security through the application of nuclear science by maintaining and enhancing the safety, security, and effectiveness of the US nuclear weapons stockpile. This support is provided in several locations across the US giving employees great options for geographically diverse work locations. The primary goal of the program will be to support the NNSA Associate Administrator for Information Management and Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in modernizing its IT and Cybersecurity Infrastructure and transforming current IT and Cybersecurity services to a managed service environment.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Red Blue Team Lead you will be responsible for maintaining client network defenses against cyber attacks and threats.
Further responsibilities include:
Leading a team that emulates a potential adversary’s offensive cyberspace operations and exploitation techniques against a targeted mission, system, network, component, or capability and produce defensive measures to protect against those attacks.
Use information gathered from readily available open source internet resources to identify exposed or compromised information, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
Employ tools against identified compromises to demonstrate a loss of confidence in the target’s functional and security posture forcing the target to operate in a degraded, disrupted, or denied cyber environment.
Work closely with Red and Blue Cyber Analysts to identify targets, research, scan, and map networks and build out defenses against those attacks.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related experience.
5 years of experience.
CISSP, OSCP, GCED or CEH.
DOE Q, L, or TS clearance.

The likely salary range for this position is $77,875 - $130,062, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
