  • Serve as the SCRUM Product Owner for VirtualShip Next.
  • Interact with the Navy End User to identify and resolve issues related to the VirtualShip software
  • Articulate and able to perform professional demonstrations of the VirtualShip products.
  • Able to translate and articulate the end user requirements to the program engineers. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel required up to 25%.
  • Secret Clearance is required, must currently have or be able to obtain.

  • Candidates must be computer literate, competent in shiphandling of naval vessels in both single ship and multiple ship situations
  • Be a former Surface Warfare Senior Navy Surface Ship Commanding Officer (FFG or DDG) with at least 15 months in Command, at sea; within the past five years.
  • Be familiar with the Surface Warfare Schools Command (SWSC) and instruction in U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officers and Enlisted Watch Standers Bridge Resource Management (BRM), Basic Ship Handling (BSH), and other courses as required in Navigation Seamanship and Shiphandling subject areas.
