We think. We act. We deliver. There is no challenge we can’t turn into opportunity. And our work depends on a Senior Project Scheduler joining our team to support the United States Army Medical Material Development Activity (USAMMDA). This position is based in Frederick, Maryland.

In this role the ideal candidate will support the following tasks:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS’) in support of multiple USAMMDA Project Management Offices.
  • Responsible for assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in developing IMS’ for multiple ACAT II-IV level programs.
  • Create and manage resource loaded IMS’ to enable accurate performance tracking cost and funding forecasting and anticipate staffing and logistics requirements.
  • Capable of identifying key program milestone events, contract deliverables, program reviews, integration activities, document contract changes and additions, and training requirements for inclusion in program IMS’. 
  • Provide probability of program success factors and metrics to support the program with an integrated view of program risks with enough detail and predictive power to enable early risk recognition, mitigation, and resolution for all programs.
  • Assist the Product Managers with shaping effective IMS’ to meet mission needs.
  • Assist IPTs in maintaining current schedules.
  • Provide hands-on development of layered schedules and plans demonstrating how a program is progressing and will meet requirements and objectives.
  • Consolidate critical paths of numerous projects and PMOs into a single IMS.
  • Provide IMS training as requested to IPTs.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
  • 8 years of general program management experience
  • 3 years of relevant program schedule development and integration experience.
  • Experience in project management, engineering management, DoD acquisition, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility.
  • Experience with developing an integrated master schedules (IMS’) using Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition milestones, decision points, and staffing processes.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain T1 (Public Trust)
