Our work depends on Training Specialist Advisor joining our team to train and mentor the critical watch station position of LCS Readiness Control Officer while also influencing the decision making process of the Bridge and Combat teams while they prepare for Mission Accomplishment in the 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Fleets.
HOW A TRAINING SPECIALIST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for customer personnel
● Will support a multi-faceted team of professionals to deliver the best possible LCS ship training curriculum both in the classroom and in the complex training environment.
●Must be willing to coordinate the efforts of a team of fellow experienced engineers.
●Must be knowledgeable of all facets of engineering programs, systems, and operations and expertly capable of delivering this knowledge to active duty sailors who may have no or limited experience operating a ship's entire engineering plant. These sailors will deploy in harm's way with your training as the most relevant information they have received outside of actual shipboard experience.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Associates or Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science desired but not required
● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Engineering Officer of the Watch
● Security Clearance Level: Secret
● Required Skills and Abilities: Leading, Mentoring, Training, Teaching
● Preferred Skills: Master Training Specialist
● Location: On Customer Site at LTF Mayport
●**US Citizenship Required
