The Administrative Assistant will provide direct administrative support to the executive support officer, and the office's senior support leader working independently with general review and guidance from a government point of contact. AA will also provide sole office management support to support officers (approximately 80 members). Schedule requirements: Work schedule is flexible but AA must be available to work during core hours Monday to Friday 09:00am to 3:00pm. AA must have strong interpersonal skills to maintain productive working relationships with team and customers. Proactively interact with administrative peers inside the work group of many offices. The AA must be able to lift 20-40 lbs. (receiving office supplies). Travel to other buildings is not required. It is strongly desired that the candidate be proficient using the sponsor's traveling systems including supply ordering, messaging, meeting scheduling, time and attendance, documentation and access software. AA must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications as follows: Basic proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and intermediate proficiency with Outlook. Customer is willing to train on sponsor's internal messaging system and other databases that are specific to the job. Prior sponsor experience is strongly desired.
