At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be trusted to work independently and deliver agile solutions. In this role, a typical day will include:
Maintaining good communication with the team
Work can be dynamic at times with daily transactional work
This office is heavily weighted forward Accountable Property Control that covers the full range of logistical duties to procurement, accountable property, shipping and receiving
Team consists of two logistics contractors and will support personnel of approximately 296 staff and contractors
Logistics services are provided through two contractors serving in the WMA oriented shared services platforms and officers and contractors that are co-located within division mission elements
Required to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining good communication with the team
Arrival and departure are governed by the core hours of the Customer from 0700-1600. Work scheduled shifts preferred to cover the majority of core hours
Team member position and will not be required to act as a team lead or supervisor, but must have awareness of regulations and recognizing missing data and ability to rectify incorrect data or missing steps in the accountable property system
Will need to determine best shipment method and understand the different packaging requirements based on the shipping options and must e able to maintain inventory levels for a two-person operation
Will need capability to package and ship a variety of material to various locations while observing property accountable property custodianship
Must be cognizant of the difference between Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Acquired Property as well as contract tracking vs government tracking of accountable property
Logistics officer will be responsible for several Consolidated Memorandum of Receipt and will be required to maintain inventory tracking protocols, enter in new equipment and process end of life material

Required to lift to 50 lbs
Previous experience with Microsoft Office including advanced proficiency with Outlook, including Excel and Word at the intermediate level. Price-estimate tool advanced level, Product and Service Catalog advanced level, Lotus Notes basic proficiency, Adobe basic proficiency, SharePoint basic proficiency
Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record
Must be able to drive Sponsor vehicle including small box truck (no CDL required) and to operate MHE such as pallet jacks
