As an Administrative Assistant III, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
The AA will be expected to work on tasks assigned by the principals and chief of support as the group's action officer. The AA will support the customer group chiefs as well as the principals. Duties will include following up on internal and external taskings to ensure a record is kept for future reference by prioritizing, coordinating, and tracking specific tasks generated by senior organization leadership
The candidate will ensure that responses to taskings are clear, concise, well-written, and delivered on time
Additional duties will include, but not limited to, appointment and calendar management, maintain and update records, check in/out process, arrange and schedule interview panels, arrange VIP visit logistics, track and manage all administrative needs of the office, time and attendance administrator, and act as the office manager
AA will also assist with planning, scheduling meetings, conferences and off-sites
Strong customer service and communication, both verbally and written, are required with a positive attitude and willingness to chip in
The AA will ensure that all support needs are met (i.e. facility, logistical, and budgetary requirements, etc.) for the office on an as needed basis. Very occasional Washington Metro Area travel may be required. A sponsor owned vehicle will be available or use of a personally owned vehicle will be reimbursed. CONUS trip outside WMA may occur (1x/yr for 3-4 days)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Must have experience working with the customer
The core hours are 0900 to 1530. No additional hours beyond 1860 annually (1.0 FTE) will be required
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own
This position is on customer site
