GDIT Technology Shared Services (TSS) is seeking a Solutions Architect. This opportunity is for a highly experienced Solution Architect for the Healthcare Integrated General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS). The candidate will provide engineering and architectural oversight and support to IT Implementations and Operations using an Agile framework. Candidate will be responsible for the continued design and operations of IT applications (Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion, OBIEE and Oracle Identity Management) and an infrastructure comprising of large highly available virtualization environment (hardware and software). Responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting existing and future applications and IT infrastructure in the areas of systems, network, storage, security, virtual technology and the Cloud for HIGLAS Hosting and Application systems. Also function as a primary technical liaison across all teams, vendors and partners, as well as CMS to design technical solutions.
Create and establish enterprise technology and architectural standards, roadmaps to support strategic IT direction using emerging technologies.
Coordinate and integrate applications, infrastructure, data and processes to support improvements.
Develop and maintain processes and services designed to maintain ongoing alignment with overall customer goals and strategies.
Analyze impact of changes on overall program and provide guidance and solutions in case of any challenges.
Support Project Managers across program with creation, execution and review of the project and make sure schedules are met.
Guide and support overall program innovation and technology to meet client requirements and strategic roadmap.
Guide and support teams on Troubleshooting calls and help with identifying root cause and address production issues quickly and effectively.
Candidate must be located within the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area. Frequent travel to customer site in Maryland may be required.
15+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions Engineer and/or Architect.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2+) and Oracle SOA, Oracle IDM applications is mandatory.
Familiarity with Websphere, Autosys, Informatica ILM, Oracle RAC, Exadata, Hyperion, OBIEE, Performance tuning, Disaster Recovery setup and Security solutions.
Experience of modern Agile development, database, and automation techniques.
Understanding and experience with DevOps/DevSecOps.
Significant hands on, combined with relevant hands on experience and data management tools (e.g., Oracle, SQL).
Governance experience (working closely with the solution delivery teams to ensure adherence to the design).
Experience with resolving design/architecture related performance issues.
Experience reviewing requirements to create a solution design based on target state technology blueprint.
Background in traditional hosted, infrastructure transition projects for multi-tier enterprise applications/architectures would be a plus.
Migration to Cloud experience would be a plus.
Experience leading and managing an Architecture Review Board (ARB) and/or Impact Assessment Board (IAB).

The likely salary range for this position is $154,400 - $231,600. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
