Personnel Security Tier II Adjudicator

Job Description

GDIT is currently looking for an experienced Personnel Security Tier II Adjudicator with a current TS clearance and eligibility for SCI access, to join its mission critical team located in Washington, DC. All candidates must have the knowledge and experience to effectively conduct eligibility determinations.  A competitive candidate should have the following experience and knowledge, which must be clearly described in the resume, along with current security clearance status:

• Must possess and exhibit excellent communication skills, with the ability to draft and present effective (clear and concise) reports, both written and oral

• Experience conducting TIER II SAP Access Eligibility Determination reviews, in accordance with DoD 5220.22-M-Supp 1, JAFAN 6/4 to include:
• Review, and update TIER 1 and TIER II office policies and procedures
• Experience inputting TIER I & II access eligibility determination results into relevant database(s);
• Conduct indoctrination briefings and processing of relevant documentation (e.g., SAP indoctrination agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and polygraph agreements);
• Update program access lists or rosters in appropriate database(s) following indoctrination;
• Provide advice to the Program Security Officer (PSO) relating to the access eligibility review process and guidelines regarding TIER II issues, including the procedures to be followed in the appeal processes;
• Prepare related documentation and reports

Minimal telecommuting allowed to support response to crisis events similar to COVID-19 pandemic

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Security, Administration, Business Administration or related field with two (2) years of related experience; or no degree with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in personnel security
• Must have successfully completed a TIER II development and certification course from a U.S Government agency or have two years of experience performing a similar function
• Must have experience working with senior government and military personnel, and have exceptional written and verbal presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
