Provide engineering and technical support services in the assessment testing, design, analysis and repairs of mechanical and hydraulic components and equipment in accordance with technical manuals and other relevant documentation.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of mechanical components, equipment and systems.
  2. Performs various tests and documents results in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance as required.
  4. Identifies and documents functional requirements.
  5. Gathers and correlates engineering data.
  6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  7. Participates in special projects as required.

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Skills and Abilities

  1. 2-5 years of related engineering experience.
  2. Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
  3. 3D modeling and analysis experience, experience in SolidWorks preferred.
  4. 2D drawing development along with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing experience. 

Additional Preferred Skills and Abilities  

  1. Documentation development experience (models, drawings, manuals)
  2. Comfortable working in hands-on environment
  3. Willing to travel to various locations as required
  4. Active Secret Clearance highly preferred

Must be able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
