GDIT is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Falls Church, VA to join our Government Compliance team. The team serves as the primary interface with Government auditors and regulators and is responsible for developing regulatory required financial deliverables such as incurred cost submissions and supporting associated audits. Additionally, the recent acquisition of CSRA by GDIT has created the need for development of an external restructuring proposal and a need to design, develop and deploy new business processes and tools for Compliance, including records retention and Request for Information (RFI).
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Supporting the design, deployment, and maintenance of a new, document retention and RFI capabilities
Developing and maintaining a set of internal management reporting tools focused on key Compliance business measures
May participate in preparation of the annual incurred cost submissions and External Restructuring Proposal for the Division Administrative Contracting Officer (DACO) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA);
May serve as a DCAA liaison for incurred cost proposal reviews and audits, cost and budget reviews, and other audits and data requests for the DCAA on-site auditors;
Provide Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) guidance to internal customers;
May assist with disclosure statement preparation, review and revisions;
Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices;
Provides assistance as needed in the contract close-out process;
Researches and resolves cost accounting issues;
To be considered you must meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, plus five years related experience (see below) or nine years of the equivalent combination of related education, professional training, or work experience;
Minimum of five years’ experience in the following areas:
Government contracting or with DCAA;
Working knowledge of FAR and CAS;
Working independently with minimal direction, as well as within a team environment;
Working well in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects.
Minimum of two or more years of experience with:
Indirect rate application and development;
Interfacing well with internal management and/or auditors
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Proficiency with computer use including relevant software applications such as MS Outlook and Office, as well as Excel, and preferably: ORACLE, CostPoint, or related systems.
Strong plus, but not a must have: CPA and/or graduate degree.
