Senior Functional Analyst Job Requisition

We think. We act. We deliver. There is no challenge we can’t turn into opportunity. And our work depends on a Senior Functional Analyst our team to support Defense Health Agency (DHA) activities on a remote support team.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Functional Analyst supporting the DHA you will be trusted to support the application and the customer’s needs.

This position is remote with exposure to other military health programs and learning experiences, creating a culture of growing and supporting career mobility within a team environment.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • After hours coverage required for Network Operations Center (NOC) network operations, communications, and issue tracking & resolution
  • Working with the ABACUS and DHA MIS teams, with 20+ GDIT employees and two partners supporting DHA’s mission
  • Analyzing user needs and performing research and functional analysis
  • Monitoring infrastructure, servers, and computer networks for issues to ensure the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Coding and executing scripts on a secure platform
  • Perform testing and other systems support in support of enhancement projects
  • Tracking drivers for continuous improvement in service delivery for DHA


  • BA/BS in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience working in functional testing and systems requirements analysis in the public sector
  • Understanding of scripts coding
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust


  • BS/BA degree preferred in computer science or engineering
  • Experience training peers
  • Experience in troubleshooting and improving business processes
  • CompTIA Security +
