GDIT is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our team.
Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks
Implement products lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Design and develop specialized user solutions, applications and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment
Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases (if needed)
Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
Maintain code integrity and organization
Collaborate with team to design and launch new features
Interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies
Bachelors or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience
Understanding of cloud architectures and enabling tools and technologies, such as AWS Cloud
Familiar with Amazon Web Managed Services (AWS) and cross domain data services
High experience level with back-end programming languages such as Java/Spring, C#, Python
Working knowledge with software platforms and services, such as Docker, Kubernetes, SQS/SNS, Kafka, AWS Lambda
Working knowledge with datastores – SQL Server, PostgreSQL
Working knowledge with latest Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)
Familiar with Configuration Management and CI Tools, such as Git/Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarQube
Working knowledge with public keys and digital certificates
Experience with Agile development methodology
Working knowledge with Collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Direct Experience with CMS data architectures and environments preferred
Certification such as AWS Associate or Professional Solution Architect preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments
Expertise in various COTS and open source tools which support development of data integration and visualization applications
Experience with APIs and usage of push notifications
The likely salary range for this position is $104,000 - $156,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
